Thank you for taking the time to visit my portfolio! My name is Nicollas, and I am a Brazilian with a passion for game design, coupled with a fervent enthusiasm for exploring the vast realm of game development.

"Rich in Fish" is a tabletop game designed with key mechanics centered around risk-taking, variable choices, and upgrades, all encapsulated within a straightforward gameplay structure divided into three main components per round: the digital app phase, the decision-making turn, and the option to upgrade.
Over a two-month production period, I served as the Scrum Master and also took charge of designing the gameplay (both digital and tabletop), creating pixel art for certain cards, and crafting the tabletop artwork. Responsibilities excluded handling UI/UX and sound design for the digital app, drafting rules, and producing vector images for specific cards.
The game was meticulously crafted to appeal to a broad audience, with a special emphasis on making it accessible to seniors, individuals with cognitive impairments, those with visual challenges, and those who may be illiterate. As this project was part of a college endeavor, we collaborated closely with "Vitalità," a center dedicated to aging and longevity, catering primarily to seniors in need of support, particularly in fostering social engagement and intergenerational connections.
"Cowgato" was the project I developed during my first semester of Digital Games at PUC Campinas. Its aim was to create a 3D project with an environmental theme. Therefore, I chose to focus on animal conservation, specifically extinct or endangered species in Brazil, with the main character being the Margay Cat (Leopardus wiedii).
Over a period of 2 months, I was primarily responsible for gameplay planning, programming, and 3D modeling of environments and objects (excluding character models). The game features two areas: the first being an animal preservation area and the second being a race arena with a water bottle collection element.
Barcelona Code School idea was to during 2 months build a portfolio while teaching Unity unique points to add more depth to it i decided to imprive my game design skill thinking what I could do better for each game. In the next paragraphs i will describe what results I came with.
